Nah, SS has a lot of respect for first class cricket. He just doesn't like one dayers. :p
Never seen that, to be honest. All I've seen is him harping on about how Test cricket is the only real form of cricket.

Nowhere have I seen him say "Multiple day, dual-innings Cricket is real cricket".

Perhaps that was because I was only referring to international cricket.

First Class cricket is most definitely cricket. And thus better than international ODI/T20 'cricket'. I've been a big supporter for a strong FC game being more important than a strong Test setup, and in favor of all sort of tours for FC players (and more warmup games for touring Test sides).

Liam, would you be able to email me the simming stats for blue as soon as you've updated the database? Would like to get stuck into the blue mini tour :)

Also, would like to know what everyone wants to achieve this season from CW Blue. Something similar to the following:

TJ Demeza
Would like to try and bag a ton of FC wickets over the season, have come close a couple of times now. Would also like to improve my batting in terms of defense, I enjoyed hanging around and actually contributing to the team total last season (even if i did get ducks from 10+ balls ... better than 1 ball!). Also, contribute with the ball a little better in OD'ers and hopefully have a success with captaincy.

Help Blue to win the FC double and score the most FC runs in CW domestic cricket this season.

Secure a place in the OD side and score more than 1000 runs in OD games...bit ambitious but you never know.

Help the Blues win a championship and continue my form from last season and hopefully get a spot on the 'A' tour again

I'd like to cement a place in the Blue starting line up this season, and hopefully build on the work done in my debut season last season.
I hope to take 3 wickets per innings regularly (although hopefully more!)

I'm really looking to find some more consistency with my FC batting this season. Every season to date I've gone through some poor patches, but hopefully another good off season with Tasmania is a step forward. I've been fairly happy with my OD performances overall, but last season wasn't my best, so there's some improvement to be found there too.

I am keen to produce match winning performances with the bat this season and I am willing to bat in any position from 1 to 7.

I would like to be the teams leading 6 hitter in both forms of the game. I hope to take a stack of catches and drop not many, if any. On the bowling sides of things, I would love to roll my arm over just once. Last season I failed to bowl a ball.

A Blues Championship is the ultimate goal though.

Looking to get my first-class bowling back on track. At the tail end of my captaincy I didn't bowl very often, sometimes forgetting that I was an option in FC cricket. Hopefully I can improve my fitness and return to some level of bowling usefulness in the longer format this season. Also looking to average over 35 with the bat in both forms of the game.

I have to email Hakon about the stats, as I think he has the most updated spreadsheet of them. But I'll hopefully have them sorted soon.

Be the leading run scorer in comp in FC and help Blues secure the double in FC. Convert my off season One Day form in England where I averaged 50 odd to regular spot in OD. Hoping to average 40 plus in both forms.

Looking to be a dependable bat in the lower middle order in both forms, FC perked up a bit for me last year, hopefully that'll continue.

Hoping for a good start to my career with some consistent leg break bowling and gritty lower order batting.
