Another ton for Hammers.

End of Over 36: 190-3, runrate=5.28
Evett 8-0-53-0
Hamlin* 101 (102 balls)
Browne 27 (25 balls)

After being 1/2, this is a very good comeback. Really hope we can push to about 300. Superb knock by Hamlin and Read was excellent opening.

Have been watching your game, waiting for it to finish. Your bowlers just dont want to finish the job, surely Ralph will take 2 in the next over.
Yeah I know, it's a big problem with my bowling. We struggle at times to dismiss the ****kickers.

It's all over now. Bhutia (99) gets MotM, despite Mcmillan making 97* and taking 3/11... a bit odd. Anyway, solid ratings :D:

Just let loose on my league sledging at Jayrod. So much whinging. He's worse than Scaly in that regard, because at least Scaly has an awesome team and consequently, something to whinge about.

Attwood 142*

Padayachie 2-57

North Melbourne: 3-363

I'm taking a shafting, with another failure from Sandwith. TIEing it and resting two bowlers. Still, my first-choice batsmen really aren't making much of an effort!

59/4

Don't really care -- was always going to lose this game. There's a good chance that I'll promote to FC Div II while being relegated to OD Div III.

Kepler managed a brutal 107 from 74 balls last week. He's looking to better it today, currently on 101* from 60 balls. Had a period of four overs where Kepler and Caldwell scored 53 runs, including 23 in one over

End of Over 20: 164-0, runrate=8.20
Ellis 5-0-36-0
Kepler* 101 (60 balls)
Caldwell 59 (61 balls)

Edit:

22.4 W Mcauley to Kepler
Kepler nicked the one that pitched perfectly in the corridor, caught by Le roux.

So annoying, he doesn't seem to be able to go beyond 100! Still, I suppose you can't really complain at an innings of 111 from 72. Nelson strikes though. Pshah. :@

The Heath CC: 397/2 (50) Caldwell 120 (113), Kepler 111 (72), Sutton 103* (81), Gardiner 57* (35)
Moses Majestics: 44/10 (11.2) Woods 5/18 (6), Turner 4/23 (5)

The Heath CC win by 353 runs.

Just missed out on the elusive 400 but our score of 397/2 improved on our previous best by exactly 1 run. Other records broken in this mauling were Caldwell's new top score (120), Turner's best bowling figures (4/23), the fastest century recorded by a player from The Heath (Kepler - 100 in 59 balls), Kepler passing 1,000 OD runs in only his 13 innings for the club (two 50's, six 100's) and Woods breaking Marrison's record (29) for the most wickets taken in a season (30 and counting).

BEST Indies decided to rest star batsman Raymond Fordham for today's clash with New Born ahead of a grudge friendly on Sunday.
The drop didn't effect the result although there were more wickets lost then I would have liked to lose against a bot. The spinner Patton proved to be the highlight claiming his 1st 5fer in fact it was a 6fer.

New Born 146/10 (42.2)
Patton 9-2-12-6
Caldwell 10-2-23-2

BEST Indies 147/5 (38.2)
Becconsall 43 off 52
Manning 37 off 63

Brackenhurst - 303/9 off 50 overs

Aubrey 31 (30)
Greene 3/16 (5.5)
Smart 3/36 (10)
Holmes 3/66 (10)

Immense team effort from the guys. Pride my team on it's depth and Browne was testament to that. 6 batsmen scored golden ducks, another a duck off two balls, and we still post 300+. Was good to see Read post a score and Hamlin was superb, but Browne really capped things off.

Although expensive, Holmes grabbed both the openers which was extremely important. Greene was tremendous and Smart's three were all clean-bowled. Best team. :)

Bah. NRR can GFI, if you know what I mean.
Code:
[B] Team Pld Won Tie Lost Points Net RR[/B]
1. Borderliners 12 10 0 2 40 23.12
2. Asterix XI 12 10 0 2 40 21.74
Three and beyond are too far behind to mount a title challenge from here. Borderliners' last two matches are against 3 and 4, and mine are against 5 and 6, so theoretically I should be able to catch up. Will be itstl.

BTW Mike, I might sell Ellis soon (strong/elite bat, remarkable/elite bowl). I've been training his bowling since I bought him so he can't be all that far off wonderful. Seven figure offers only.
