also, i hate the fact that people keep saying that new zealand beat us 3 zip at the start of the year. perhaps they should also mention that australia where missing/resting a couple of key players ahead of the world cup.

We were missing 5 or 6 of our key players TBH but losing to them 3 zip was a bit embarrassing especially losing after piling up huge totals. Well disappointed that Noffers didn't get much of chance show his skills (batting or bowling) in this game.we might not get to see him bowl if the crap caps continue with the way they're going.

What a surprise, another top order failure and another loss.
Jamie How is not a 20/20 player so why was he playing?
Lou Vincent and Ross Taylor are playing awfully for a while now. Moan and whine about Taylor's talent all you want, I'd rather have results than a waste of batting space. Get Peter Fulton over there now. Same with Fleming, the only reason he quit is because boofhead rugby fans and NZC have been trying to get rid of him for a long time. Put Fulton and Fleming in that middle order along with Styris, Oram and Sinclair and you have a real line up. Not talent going to waste and a slow and steady opener chucked in at number 3.
This really was poor, Aussie may be better than us but not by that much. The only positives were Oram's batting and Patel showing once again he should be in this team full time but once again he will be ignored for someone dire like Mason or god forbid, Martin.
The team just seems to be drifting along playing the same old lot regardless of form but in different positions and as soon as we sort out one area of our game another falls apart and that isn't good enough. John Bracewell has shown that he can get this team to perform brilliantly but also that when they don't they are awful. It's time for a new coach, new players such as Broom and Ryder and some good old players like Adams who is well suited to this format, and a new era where players are picked on merit and not the lunacy of a ****** given a toybox. Rant over.
EDIT: It was infuriating how the damn Aussies just played with us like a doll. In saying that, Symonds and Gilly were great show men and congrats to the aussies for making us look like minnows. Well played to them.
