Symmo is lucky to be still there, he should have been given out there.
Not sure about that to be honest. How is it any different to a guy thinking he's going to fall over the ropes and throwing it back into play?

Don't you not only have to be in control of the ball but also your body?

Australia really struggling on presenting 20/20's. The commentary, the entertainment and the presentation spoiling a good contest.

Symonds pretty much single-handedly did the job. Awesome stuff by Pomers and Voges on debut. Impressed with them. Gilchrist opening the batting - just no IMO.

Really hope Bracken and the rest of the pacers dominate.

Hahaha yeah. At least his debut will always be remembered. What part of the GC are you in if you don't mind me asking? Runaway Bay area for mine.
mermaid waters here mate. i'm sure his ODI debut will be remembered for the right reasons. according to cricket 2007, he'll score 82 and take 2 wickets. heres hoping!!

The commentary is terrible. When it falls on Slater, Healy and Nicholas you really do miss Richie, Bill and Tony. Slater and Heals are so cringeworthy in my opinion - and I know I'm part of the minority who hate Nicholas.

Brayshaw started out OK - but by the end left you wondering whether he was leaving his wife for Roy.

can really see our quicks getting smashed around - on this deck anyway. i'd turn to the slower bowlers if i was pup.

Would be interesting to see how Pup handles his bowling options and how he leads the side, it would be almost like a sneak peek into the future.

8-)

People like you **** me, mate. You don't have to like the game - but don't go around thinking you are a true cricket fan and anyone who enjoys Twenty20 should enjoy an eternity of damnation.
mate, i'm fine with anybody enjoying this. it's just not my cup of tea. doesn't appeal to the traditionalists, which i guess you could describe me.

and as i type this lee gets a wicket from his first ball. great first ball.

Well this is the first 20/20 match I’ve watched and has only reinforced the fact you can’t manufacture excitement. Don’t shoot me, but it’s kinda…boring. Still, it was hilarious getting to see Clarkey so nervous :D Watching Tait could also be fun.

I'm only watching bits and pieces of it. Despite it being shorter than all other forms, it's not really drawing me in. Although the fact I'm sure we're going to lose probably has something to do with it.

For every half decent spinner in Australia we have four or five better quick bowlers. It's a quick and bouncy deck. Just because the Kiwi pacemen were average doesn't mean ours are.

C'mon Bracks. You're a gun buddy. His boxing sessions hopefully getting him some extra strength.

Fielding Noffers!
