I don't personally think people should be either ittbk, but I do feel people are far too precious about it, and I will defend their right to talk about cricket on a cricket forum, without calling them Morons, or idiots
Just ignore them, the mods will let them know if they have crossed the line, you can tell them for instance
If I moderated people for taking threads off topic, there would be no threads left. But as a member, I can certainly voice my displeasure at people who, perhaps for no other reason than to be vindictive, seem to want to spoil a good thing by dragging it through the mud even though there are other places for them to voice their displeasure.
I could, for example, mention my opinion on guys I feel are cheaters, or are overrated, every time they are mentioned, just for the sake of saying it. But I don't, because not only is it tiresome, but it is quite tasteless to take the same shots over and over again in threads that are made for a completely separate reason.
Speaking as a member, personally, I am tired of putting up with people like that. I am going back and finding every member who consistently does that towards a player/team/whatever, and simply putting them on my ignore list (and Murali is just one of about six topics that constantly annoy me in the forum). It's about to swell from three people to twenty, but I see no other way. I highly suggest that others on the forum (on all sides) do the same, rather than taking the bait and helping to ruin the thread.
I've said my piece. Make of it what you will. I'm out of this thread.
Congratulations to Murali.
