Only know of 1 other occasion, Gayle off Hoggard at The Oval in 2004. Something tells me someone said that was unique then, but I can't believe it was.Six fours in the over for Jayasuriya. How many times has that happened in Test cricket?
Or the game will be shifting decisively towards SL. Nice way to go for Jaya, but this is looking like a big home win now that the new ball's been seen off. This really hasn't been a bad over by Anderson at all apart from the pull that got pulled to the leg side, but it's gone for 6 fours. Jayasuriya will be out in no time if he tries to keep this up.
Love those smilies, Jason!Murali 709 .....Becomes the leading wicket taker in Test Cricket History
Yeah, odd how little it's swung this second-innings. Not a lot else that can be done, though, there's no high-calibre bowlers of cutters and the like around at present.IMO, England's bowling attack looks pretty weak once there's no swing available.
Both Hoggard and Sidebottom are only effective when there's swing around.
Anderson too is more of a swing bowler albeit, a less accurate version of the aforementioned two.
And I expect SRi Lanka to play Panesar well generally.
So England have got big problems with their bowling attack IMO.

In a word: no.Harmison
Haven't seen much of young Broad. Is he worth a shot for the next match ?
