Well effectively you've got Denmark v Argentina for one spot and Namibia v Uganda for the other. Both of those on paper should go with the bigger boys, but... I wouldn't be batting first if I was winning any tosses.

4th place is still open... Any Predictions?
Well Denmark have to play Argentina in the last game of the group stage, Uganda on the other hand have a difficult match against namibia.

I'm going to plum for Denmark in 4th, Uganda in 5th.

In the final & play-offs I'm thinking UAE in 1st, Oman in 2nd, Namibia in 3rd etc.

Namibia should have done better with all that 1st class domestic stuff theyve been playing, it must be light years ahead of any cricket the oman and uae sides play...

It's their bowling, which is strange because i rate their attack compared to say...the netherlands or canada.

and the U.A.E should be struggling after their performances in the Intercontinental. The surprise (maybe not that surprising) is Oman. At the end of the day, i can't see any of these teams standing up against the top 5 associates. Denmark should take the 4th spot, but after their poor run of results, i wouldn't be surprised if they're demoted to Div. 3. They've obviously been taking notes from Ireland's Div. 1 gameplan from last year

Also, big ups to Gerrie Snyman. 17 sixes!!

U.A.E showed they had plenty of mental strength the way they dug themselves out of the hole they were against Bermuda but against better quality bowling I reckon these runchases would loads more difficult

It was more of a case that Bermuda lost it. Bermuda wouldn't know how to win a game even if Hansie Cronje's bookmakers had it fixed

Canada took them to the cleaners, and i suspect the other 4 will too, although in their own conditions Arshad Ali, Khurram Khan, Saqib Ali and Ali Asad are genuine match winners.

Well Namibia, at 76/8, were staring down the Ugandan barrel before 46* (34) from number ten Kola Burger dragged them to a still-average 145. However, for the second match running, Gerrie Snyman proved the Namibian hero with 5/36 as Uganda slipped to 118 all out.

Meanwhile, Denmark booked their place in the WCQ with a nervy three-wicket win over the Argentines, Freddie Klokker's 54 the biggest difference between the sides, whilst Oman's 298/8 was enough to win the dress rehearsal for the final against UAE, as Adnan Ilyas hit 113.

My View:

Oman: They surely deserve a place in the qualifiers for the way they played. They improved a lot as a team & not a one man show. Oman suprised everyone by qualifying for the second time in a rown (This time in a much deserved fashion). Should see how they play against major teams like Ireland, Kenya, Scotland. Hope they continue their form & this should be the new beginning for Oman's Cricket. Oman are the only Affliate team in Div 2.

UAE: One among the expected qualifiers but have proved more then wat was expected. UAE have been qualifying for WCQ almost everytime but made it to the World Cup only once. This is their best chance to kick Bermuda & tack their place ( May be even Canada's). Also the advantage with them as they will be playing at home. Hope they make it a high profile tournament by getting few fans for themselves in the stands...

Namibia: Started very well, better then wat was predicted & ended in the opposite manner. They surely deserve a place in the Qualifiers for the way they batted but their bowling has to improve a lot in order to challange higher ranked teams. All the Best Namibia expecting u to play well in the Qualifiers.

Denmark: The luckiest team to qualify. Feel they should have played with teams like Afghanistan before getting qualified. To win tournaments it cant be one man show, they should realise it & prepare for a bigger challenge or sorry got better teams for World Cup...

Uganda: Disappointd everyone. Until the tournament started everyone were expecting Uganda as one of the teams to Qualify for the World Cup but now the are struggling for the Qualifiers. They should have proved when Namibia were allout for such a low score infact Uganda have chosen their own place. Nobody to blame for except them selves.

Argentina: Forget them. Did very well to qualify for the Div 2. That's enough. May not be among the Qualifiers for sure.

No one with more than three functioning brain cells ever expected Uganda to qualify for the World Cup.

I played with Beathy (or Steve Waugh/Gary Sinise) in Dunedin. Was a handy middle-order batsman who went between senior and second grade. Now he opens the bowling for Japan! Which is interesting as he was never much chop with the ball (tidy seam-ups, that's about it) and he reckons he's got slower...
