Congrats Trav.

I would like to pull my name out of hat for vice captaincy position. I reckon in Cribb, Crampton and Collins we have three very good players to fill that role. All have been at the club a long time and it seems Cribb is trying to get some batsmen our way too. He already basically brought Bowen to the club.

Also I would recommend the management consider signing Shah. Seems to be perfect replacement for Trav, as an aggressive opening bowling when Trav away playing Test. Also as i mentioned in the other thread, we have little depth in the seam depatment, excluding the all rounders.

I still haven't heard anything back from Wilshere. He hasn't been active on the forums for over a month, also.

Anyone in touch with him on a regular basis, by chance?

Bit late, but congrats Trav and good luck for your first season in charge
Cheers.

In other news, once all rookies are assigned it has been rumoured that the CW Blue management are looking to organise a pre-season tour of Australia or England.

The tour will be a whirlwind tour consisting of 2 3-day scratch matches and 2 50 over scratch matches against quality opposition. The tour will hold an unofficial status with no games counting to FC or List-A status, and will be a team bonding exercise to incorporate the new signings. It is planned that the tour won't clash with other pre-season or international commitments to the CWBCC.

More to be revealed once rookie signings close.
