*Official* CW XI in England and UK

hah, loving all the 'extreme-ginga' Pickup shots. The man is a true ***-god.

On a more serious note, extremely well played CW over the series. We definetly deserved the two nil result. Probably could have made a whitewash of the test series if we look back at it a little bit.

2-0 is most excellent, though.

I'm happy to have contributed a little bit with the ball, and extremely pleased with everyone's input into a great team victory :)

Fantastic victory, well done guys :). Cloete surely MOTS, how many runs did he end up with?

Strauss to lead England Lions against CW XI

Andrew Strauss - the discarded England opener - will lead the England Lions in their tour match against Cricket Web XI on Wednesday. The left-hander will look to return to the England team both through his leadership and with his bat. He is joined in the team by nine other players with England experience.

Chris Tremlett, Graham Onions and Tim Bresnan form the seam attack, and Graeme Swann and Adil Rashid supply a spin quotient of the bowling attack. Phil Mustard is expected to open with the Strauss and will keep wicket for the team.

England Lions squad:
Andrew Strauss (c), Phil Mustard (wk), Luke Wright, Graham Onions, Chris Tremlett, Tim Bresnan, Adil Rashid, Graeme Swann, Jonathan Trott, Ravi Bopara, Rikki Clarke. 12th Man: Joe Denly.

Very proud of boys efforts here. Some great indiviual performances, but overall a great team performance to win 4th Test series and 3rd in a row.

Interesting fact. In the past 7 Tests, Cloete has scored 150+ on five occasions, without reaching 200. He's been twice out on 186 and twice on 190, and once on 151. Pretty incredible stuff. But it's fair to say that he's a choker.

EDIT: Also, the CW XI has won 9 of its last 11 Tests, with 2 draws in there against England. Further to that, the team has won 11 of 15 Tests, with a loss each against South Africa and Pakistan.
