Putting the current situation aside for the moment, who are people going to be supporting next year, if bothering to follow the tournament at all? Going with the Swedes here.

im gonna support the czech republc for euro 2008. no secific reason really only i reckon they have a decent chance to win it and they will be underdogs

well, after my unfortunate unforced hiatus I have now returned and would like to just make a few points, for those who scoffed when i said england would not qualify under the mclaren regime, i laugh in your faces, and i can honestly say that I am thrilled at this outcome, as now we will (hopefully) get a good coach (foreign) in his place and it will be ok to watch england again, and secondly that i can now enjoy watching the european championships next year without having to tolerate all the stupid england flags/england fans and all the rubbish about "its our year", come on Germany i say.
