Seems he has alot more to lose than he does to gain with these games imo. If the India series was next week he'd be playing with MacGill out 'injured'. But if he gets tonked in the C-H series...

McCullum > Gilchrist in Wicket Keeping ability lately IMO. Take that Australia! A debatable opinion on a smaller aspect of the game where there is no clear gap anyway!

I know, I'm just being cynical. It will turn out that way though - I have seen the future and it's depressingly familiar...
