haha pretty cool moment, didnt expect to see HBK back at all, thought he was meant to be out for ages more and not really interested in returning, now if Y2J makes it back soon then RAW might actually be worth watching, esspecially if they can give shelton a push rather than making him job pretty much every match he's involved in.

Vince McMahon has a history of singling people out backstage and embarressing them in front of other wrestlers. Last Monday when Shawn Michaels was the target of Vince's juvanile behavior, it blew up in Vince's face and left even Stephanie McMahon speechless.

Despite the fact that Shawn Michaels returned to WWE a month ahead of schedule, he still has heat with Vince. Shawn made it clear before he returned that he wants more control over his schedule. He won't be doing any overseas tours and will work a somewhat reduced schedule so he can spend more time with his family.

When Shawn showed up to RAW last Monday for the first time since his injury, Vince started "chewing him out" in front of the lockerroom. He made fun of Shawn's attitude and his clothing, among other things. To the surprise of everybody, HBK fired back at Vince and put him in his place. Shawn made it very clear to Vince in front of everybody that he won't be disrespected by anybody or treated like a rookie.

The wrestlers were shocked that somebody finally stood up to one of Vince's tirades. According to our source, nobody was more shocked than Stephanie McMahon. Witnesses were reportedly amused that Shawn humbled Vince in front of everybody. The McMahons are not necessarily disliked by the roster but this definitely brought Vince down off his high horse.

Shawn and Vince have had a volatile relationship for well over a decade. There is no indication that this incident will have any ramifications on Shawn's WWE status

Was watching some thing on Youtube today, from '00, The Rock vs. Triple H, where McMahon was trying to rig it. Triple H nearly had the Rock beaten, then Stone Cold Steve Austin came in and crunched them all, made for some good viewing tbh.

Stupid Bischoff. Actually made people want to watch Raw, and Raw beat Nitro in the ratings for the first time in 2 years or something, that night.

Classic WWF v WCW moment.
Nah, they beat Nitro for the first time in years when Austin was gonna fight Vince with one arm tied behind his back. This was in April, 1998. Foley did a run-in as Dude Love, setting up Austin's first post-WM feud. It was the Vince vs. Austin feud that won the ratings battle. Foley won the title in '99.

Three days 'till Y2J returns. Happy days.

Apparently he's going to have a new finisher, some other new moves and short hair. Can't wait TBH, the moment the countdown stops and the lights go out is gonna be pretty special.

Oh, and I'd be very surprised if there's no Screwjob angle at Survivor Series, what with it being the 10th Anniversary of Montreal and all that. Not sure how they'd do it without turning HBK heel or Orton face, though, unless Vince and Orton screw HBK, and then we're back where we were 18 months ago at WM22.

Yeah, should be pretty freaking insane. I am getting Survivor Series, not sure what in particular, should be a decent show all around.

Then the next night, the triumphant return of Chris Jericho. Yeeehah Cowboy.

Decent barring the totally unnecessary Tag Titles Match, where Rhodes and Holly are going to win for no reason whatsoever.

I miss the really far out characters of the old WWF. Yokozuna, Big Boss Man, Jake 'the snake' Robert, Mr Perfect, Tatanka and the like, why did the mamangement stop churning out such type of wrestler?

Because they entered the attitude era, and started caring more for personalities rather than gimmicks?

Thank god for that.

Or not. Cade & Murdoch retained, and apparently Murdoch finished the match with a Canadian Destroyer. I can't wait to see that, fat guys shouldn't be able to do front-flip piledrivers.

I'm surprised they let him do it, apparently the last time he tried to do it in training he botched it and injured someone. But it will be funny seeing him do it, him being some random old school style wrestler and a full on redneck at that, just busting out the Canadian Destroyer out of nowhere

Well, from what I heard it was a "modified" Canadian Destroyer, so I'd imagine it probably doesn't look as good as Petey Williams' version. Not that anything could, mind. Best move ever.

I remember Murdoch trying it on Matt Hardy a few months ago and nearly killing him - by all accounts it seems to have come off a lot better than it did back then.

Will be interesting to see once I get round to watching SS!

Also, god damn, the worst kept secret in Wrestling history but that was so awesome. Jericho looked amazing, like 10 years younger than he did last time he was here. It feels like he's been gone forever, probably an indictment of how dire it's been in recent times. But man I was so pumped for that segment, even though they made it entirely too obvious what was going to happen. It was so awesome to chant along again, WELCOME TO RAW, IS, JERICHOOOOOOO!

I knew he would deliver one of his typical awesome put-down filled promo's and he didn't disappoint, I swear to god I nearly choked on my own laughter when he said he'd come to save us from Randy Orton's child bearing hips.

Now all that remains to be seen is what they do with him, I didn't really want him to be put into a feud with Orton straight away, because of him being a new champion, and I don't know what they intend to do. Giving the Belt to Orton only to have him drop it straight away buries his whole last year, and bringing Jericho back to job to Orton would be a completely stupid thing to do. I'm hoping they build it up to Wrestlemania, maybe put in a tag match at Armageddon, Jericho/HBK vs Orton/Kennedy, something like that, and then make Jericho earn his shot at the title, possibly with a Royal Rumble win to set up the Mania title shot. Something like that would be awesome for mine. But yeah, stoked.

Doubt they'd have a tag main event at Armageddon TBH, they haven't done that since the return of DX. Besides, it looks like HBK vs Kennedy is gonna be a rivalry all of its own, which I'm looking forward to immensely. Kennedy vs 'Taker was the rivalry that elevated Ken to main event status, hopefully this one'll give him a chance to shine.

I don't know how they're gonna get there, but I wouldn't be surprised to see the Raw main event at next year's WM as HHH vs Orton. I'd also expect to see Y2J and perhaps HBK in the MITB match, and then Lashley vs Kennedy too. Lashley is scheduled to make his return sometime in the next month or so, and logically speaking he should target Kennedy as he's the guy who put him out. We'll see.
