Way to make a liar of me Siralex. From the BBC: Ref favoured Arsenal rages Fergie.

"I think Howard Webb has a great chance to be the top referee but today was a big game for him and, at times, he favoured Arsenal," Ferguson told MUTV.

"Their second goal came from him not giving a free-kick for a foul on Louis Saha. It should've been a foul for us."

Just when you think the old client might finally be evolving into a halfway decent human being. Webb favoured us so much he ignores Vidic grabbing Hleb's shirt in the box in the first-half & Brown pushing Hleb over in the build-up to ManUre's first goal.

So does the same apply to Arsene Wenger for the amount of times he has calimed he never saw whatever bad incident against Arsenal?

It's just another example of Taggart putting unfair pressure on referees. Webb had a good game, bit officious in the first-half, but not really biased. Ferguson just wants to put pressure on him for when manure next get him in a big match.

Brumbers points were marginal decisions that went manures way, so it's ridiculous to talk of any bias.

Disgraceful that he's always let to get away with it. I thought direct criticism of refs was an offense, why's he not charged with disrepute?
Hard to take you seriously when you go on about "manure" - you sound about 12.

Gutted when the Gunners scrambled their last minute equaliser but over the 90-minutes 2-2 was probably the fair result between two superb teams. Just a shame we lost concentration at the back there when we should have been dealing with the trouble and seeing the match out. Pleased with the way we played overall though, and I would have taken a point before kick-off.

You lot, a bit odd calling Exeter City that, but there ya go:unsure:

I call Arsenal, the Arse as well. I hate all Prem clubs really. Almost certainly jealousy, ITBT.

The Liverpool/Blackburn game IMO was just as good as the Arsenal/United clash only thing no goals where scored when at least 5 should have been. Good to see Stevie G looking like the driving force in the reds mid-field again in the last 2 league matches since he was looking awful for them and England before.
agreed
but frustrating watching the boys run around a scoreless draw.

Defensively IMO the first goal was worse, as Fergie said. Brown (who admittedly apart from this incident had a very good game, surprisingly) could have picked Fabregas up but didn't, whereas the second was the kind of goal-mouth scramble you often see when a team is chasing a game and anything can happen.

Contrary to popular (well, Scaly's) opinion I don't actually blindly defend everything Wenger does.

He does make himself look foolish with such pronouncements, but I imagine he considers then preferable to either defending the indefensible ("Yes of course Keown struck van Nistelrooy after he missed the penalty. & quite right too, the goofy, diving Dutch ****er") or criticising his players in public, which any boss worth his salt is loathe to do.

Agree with the first goal being defensively worse - it's just more galling when it happens in the last minute!

Yeah he has been known to say stupid things in the past, but then again doesn't pretty much every manager. SirAlex does it more than most and Mourihno was a master at playing into the presses hands, but at the end of the day we will all forget about it tbh.

Used to think Wenger was an arse of the highest order but he's gone up in my estimations lately.

Anyway Liverpool winning 3-0 - it had to happen sooner or later.

See West Ham have again bee linked for a 12m bid for Adriano. TBH they guy needs a kick up the backside and a stint in the army to wake up to himself and stop acting like a spoiled primma donna.
