A really dire knock from Yunus khan came to a tame end and TBH i just can't understand why India arrange games in such small centers because the quality of pitches in general are pretty dire in these smaller centers.

Yousuf is a right gun. Always makes people pay for dropping him. Younis really needs to get his sorted before the next match.

Spinners and Rao are key here I feel if we are defend this paltry total.

Looking at the results on this ground at Guwahati, there have not been any close matches at all in 11 ODIs. Smallest chasing win has been 6 wickets and smallest defending win has been 44 runs. Some have involved two visiting teams.

Wonder how this wil turn out.

Hmm, sounds like an interestingly poised match.

6.6 Shoaib Akhtar to Gambhir, FOUR, poor ball to end what could have been a fabulous over for Pakistan, Shoaib drifts on to the pads and Gambhir helps himself to four more by flicking through midwicket
6.5 Shoaib Akhtar to Gambhir, no run, 147 kmh, on a good length, homing into off and middle stump, Gambhir waits for the ball and defends with a straight bat on the back foot
6.4 Shoaib Akhtar to Gambhir, no run, banged in short from round the wicket, angling into the left-hander, Gambhir waits on the back foot and defends
6.3 Shoaib Akhtar to Gambhir, no run, defended on the back foot towards the off side
6.2 Shoaib Akhtar to Gambhir, FOUR, dropped again, by Younis this time, another regulation edge flew through to Younis who couldn't get down in time, the ball bounced to his right and ran down to the third man boundary, costly misses from Pakistan
6.1 Shoaib Akhtar to Gambhir, FOUR, dropped, by either Akmal or Younis, Gambhir pushed tentatively away from his body at a good length delivery outside off stump and got a regulation edge that flew between the wicketkeeper and first slip, neither Akmal or Younis moved an inch

That'd be a bit annoying hey? Technically they weren't drops though, as the fielder never touched it

People talk about teams being unlucky. Counting drops, which I know techincally isn't luck, this has been the luckiest ten overs I have ever seen in a cricket match. Akhtar is bowling, so, so well and is going for 7.5 an over. Absurd sport.
