Players who got figured out

Nope, was just crap against the short-ball so they say.

Though he could, conceivably, have solved that problem after being worked-out (as Michael Bevan and Graeme Hick did) and got more chances but for his perceived poor attitude.

He's a funny case, Crawley. Was there ever a time he wasn't figured-out?

Throughout his Test-career it seemed to me to be a fairly straightforward case (at least until the very end when he was treated exceptionally harshly) of: bowl quality seam at him, your chances are excellent; don't bowl quality seam at him (no matter how good the quality of spin) you've got little chance.

Matt Elliott and Greg Blewett - both started there careers in style and were often in similar ways.

Elliott would get a nick to the slips on many occasions. Blewett had a big problem of leaving a gap between bat and pad so I think bowlers exploited this as both batsmen had more potential then mid 30 averages.

I guess I should have thought carefully before not putting a "YES, THIS POST WAS IN JEST!!!!!!!!!!!!!" there due to the potential for thinking I was putting forth an unfounded accusation.

Nope. Couldn't think of two much more different posters than you and LT TBH. One self-confessed "I know more about history than cricket and am a member here principally because I want to read from others" (or something along those lines - actually I've just got the Search feature working and it was "I prefer to absorb knowledge") and one who's several times decryed this forum as inferior to something else.

Just amused me that you both have faux-pas posting-IDs (something very unusual around these parts) and that you corroborated on a joke when I don't think I've seen either of you corroborate on anything with anyone in my posting time so far.

I wondered. I'm not great at figuring-out jest from posters I don't know that well TBH, and thought I'd better say what I ended-up saying anyway.
