Jol resigned rather than be sacked. Shouldn't have spent all that money on too many forwards imo.

Always heartbreaking to see T*ttenham tool things up so royally. It really couldn't have been scripted any better: Levy decides Jol (the best manager they've had since, oh, Keith Burkinshaw) can't take then up the next step so starts whoring around Europe for a new man, as is the way of things his "clandestine" meeting with Juande gets out, the players realise Jol is a lame-duck manager so stop playing for him & their best player (Berbatov) breaks out into almost open defiance. Jol is left with nowhere to go but the door marked "exit".

Indeed, an absolute debacle from the off - I feel for Jol, he was royally screwed by the board after they'd backed him with so much money and he clearly seems to have lost the dressing room. Berba for one would visibly rather be anywhere else. The strange thing is, at this stage last season they'd picked up only one more League point than they've got now...

Siding with Lehmann. He's clearly better than Almunia.
Yeah but he iso ne of the biggest tools out there, would rather somebody like Almunia then a berk like Lehmann. Players with that attitude are not needed at Arsenal, even if they are top of the league.
