Arsenal playing some beautiful stuff, but my Slavia Prague are average.
Indeed - by all accounts Slavia were abysmal last night, but equally by all accounts the Gunners were superb. You can only beat who's in front of you, and they're doing that match after match with some style.

Outstanding win for my boys in Kiev - I much prefer scoring four every match to just the one... :) Exceptional performance as well given that we are still nowhere near full strength, with two of our first choice back four and all three first choice CMs out. And Mr Glass, obviously. Really, really beginning to like the look of Anderson.

And big ups to Rangers too - a draw with Barca means they can taste qualification to the next round.

Anderson was in fine form last night, really got back and tackled, did the scholes role without the calamatous fouls. Even Giggs looked good for once last night, his run and cross for the 3rd was superb. Didnt see too much after the 60th min, as i had to start work, but we looked great upto then.

Funnily enough, I have the jersey of their rivals, Sparta Pargue. I have some random football jersey's at home, if anyone has any better, say so!
I've been playing in my Djurgardens one a fair bit recently.

:-O

Of all the ingratitude! Bloke wins 9 titles and is generally a bit of a living legend and he "looked good for once"....? :p

Tbf he hasn't been good of late, and while he is indeed a legend, I feel he is heading towards being classified as past it, personally.

Has lost a bit of zip for me, yeah. Mind you he is 34 (?) with more-or-less no knees, so it's probably inevitable. Being in the United first team since he was 12 probably hasn't helped either.

Jermaine Pennant is a bit rubbish, really.

Good news for the 'pool-haters so far, I'm having to watch it because Sky are twatty ****heads:@

Hmm. Dire result for yer Scousers tonight. Just don't look the same team without Clattenberg, do they?

Yes, early season promise turning to dust. Gotta fancy the Arse at the weekend, and I bet most Arsenal supporters aren't exactly devastated Jermaine is at Liverpool. Many were suggesting it was a bad move by Wenger to get rid, after that horrifically over-hyped champions league final performance. They were wrong, tbh.

Chelsea 3 2 1 0 5 2 +3 7
Rosenborg 3 1 1 1 3 3 0 4
Valencia 3 1 0 2 2 4 -2 3
Schalke 04 3 1 0 2 2 3 -1 3

Decent table. May it continue.
