Andrew Symonds is at fault himself

Not surprising TBH, there are a lot of people who don't generally find darker girls attractive, myself included.
ITSTL.

Me, I tend to find brown-skinned girls more attractive than any others TBH. Dono why for the life of me.

Haha, why should he have to want to fit in, Dicko?
Could just stop killing the forum atmosphere in every thread instead.
Why be a moron for the sake of it? I've ample evidence that sst can be a good poster, but he can also wind people up, and that's simply a shame.

And while I'd certainly not condone the "let's seek to fit-in" mentality, as I'm obviously a walking contradiction of that, one questions why you'd even bother associating with people (it's not like coming onto CW is compulsary, nor even associating with people in life in general) if you don't give a stuff about what they think of you, or if you don't want to be pleasant to those who deserve it.

BARNES OUT
Maybe he just wants to discuss the way he feels on cricketing issues and have some banter. Why should he care what some dudes from the other side of the world think of him, I barely care what my roomate thinks of me let alone you or anyone else on this site. You only have to please yourself IMO, and if he is, then more power to him.

If you only want to please yourself, one questions why you bother having the slightest contact with so much as a single other person.

If you only want to please yourself, why not simply sit in your room and tell yourself how wonderful you are?

Which team do you play for in Devon Richard? This has nothing to do with what you've written above I know, but I thought it'd get your attention.

You don't need to make a post aimed at me to get my attention on this forum TBH. I notice most things.

I seem to remember we've discussed this - three times - before, when you mentioned that you'd played a few games for St.James'.

I play for the wonderfully titled "Exeter Cricket Club".

Probably, although if we had discussed this I'd expect you to remember that I actually played the whole season for Plymstock and played a couple of games against St James. We won one and lost one...I don't expect you to remember that part

It was 2002.

I really have no opinion on the merits of the other poster, but I would caution against pontificating quite SO vociferously, particularly on the subject of intentionally "winding other posters up".

Your constant habit of using the classic weasel words (such as "unless you have no knowledge of the game, you would agree..." or "you would have to be an idiot to think that this isn't the case" or the like) to further your argument, is far more a slight on other posters, and is infinitely more damaging to healthy discussion than one-eyed banter and any lack of humility in defeat- which, frankly, are absolutely endemic on these boards from posters of all nationalities. This is a board that deals with a sport where teams represent nations rather than just clubs- You have to expect that a good amount of the posters are going to have their rose-coloured glasses on, and to be forgiving to a fault when their own team is in the firing line.

(A prime example of which would be the notion that a guy who is being racially taunted "is himself to blame". The problem exists with more than just the one poster.)

I have no issue with you- you seem like a pretty knowledgeable type and you're certainly a dab-hand at generating statistics and obscure facts. I would just suggest that you turn the focus inward before you start preaching. Otherwise, it could be seen as a bit do-as-I-say, which, you may recall, is a real pet hate of mine.

Also, I don't understand why you seem to want to argue honestbharani's points for him. I have only interacted with him once (that I recall, at least), but he seems like a pretty intelligent, coherent, friendly sort of bloke, and he seems perfectly able to get across his point on his own. Let the man express his own mind, y'know?

I'm honestly not trying to have a crack at you, but I really don't know if this is the sort of topic you should be judging others on.

Whatever it takes!!!
I suppose the British colonists had no feelings of racial hatred for the native people.

Nor iirc, the conquering aryans when they originally established the caste system.
They originally established the caste system????

Ever heard of Manu Dharma? The caste system has been there for ages and it was initially based upon the work one did, not on one's birth. The medieval days changed all that as a lot of guys found short cuts to wealth and prosperity and also to get the work done from a select group of people so that they can live in their lazy, elegant way.

And the racism brought in by the british colonists is precisely why I think Indians looked at Afro-Americans in a much better manner than those guys did. How would the Indians hate people who were hated by the British colonists? And even there, you will find that it is the British colonists who were racist, not the native Indians.

I'm sorry, making monkey noises and movements has no place in the game. Doesn't matter what he said, that's not on.

Fans arrested for calling Andrew Symonds ‘monkey'

The Marine Drive police arrested four cricket fans from Wankhede stadium on Wednesday night for allegedly calling Australian cricketer Andrew Symonds names during the Australia-India one-day match.

The four repeated what spectators at Baroda and Nagpur allegedly did, calling Symonds 'monkey' while the Australian player was fielding on the boundary on Wednesday night. While spectators earlier escaped unpunished, this time the International Cricket Council (ICC) decided to take a hard stance and lodged a complaint with the local police.

As a result, the four spectators inside the stadium were picked up by the policemen present there and taken to Marine Drive police station. "After ICC complained, we arrested four spectators for calling Symonds "monkey"," DCP Zone I, Brajesh Singh told Mumbai Mirror.

The spectators are yet to be identified and police said that their identity would be revealed only after their statements were recorded.
