Hogg gone, wow what a dire umpiring decision was that Hogg's bat was nowhere near the ball.
Anyways we now are in seriously deep trouble.

Lee gone of the first ball he faced Karthik gets a five-for, damn we are in danger of getting bowled out pretty quickly.

I hope Mitch can come good with the bat today.
He's certainly an under-rated batsman IMO. Well, perhaps under-achieving would be a better word. He certainly has the ability to score a few. He won't have seen conditions like this too often though.

6 wickets for Kartik! I feel so good for him; always rated him. He's bowled really well in this series but has been handled poorly by the captain IMO - good to see him get the rewards today.

These are now Kartik's best figures in 143 List A matches. His first 6 wicket haul and only the second time he has taken 5 wickets or more in a List A game. Big day for him indeed.

Still averages 40 plus
Indeed, at an economy rate of above 5. I feel both of those statistics would be a lot better if for a few things:

* He didn't spend the first half of his career with Patel/Dravid behind the stumps - the amount of missed stumpings that cost his wickets and later runs early on was amazing
* He wasn't only brought into the team when India were getting absolutely smashed
* He was handled better by the respective captains he played under and not used as an after-thought

Still though, numbers are numbers and he's had a very poor ODI career. Good to see him get rewards today for his good bowling nonetheless.

Not Terrible
Do we (Aussies) still have some hope in this game?
With the way Sachin's been playing? I think he could steer his team home even if they lost a bucket load of early wickets, plus the out of form Dravid's been replaced so its a stronger looking batting line up.

Anyways i think taking Clarke out of no.4 was a big mistake because he controls the middle overs of the Australian innings brilliantly by rotating the strike and he builds big partnerships with other batsmen.

Tendulkar at Wankhede
:

v Australia:

2 2 0 158 90 68 - 79.00 0 2 0

In matches won batting second:

3 3 0 63 33 30 0 21.00 0 0 1

In matches lost batting second:

3 3 0 170 90 68 12 56.66 0 2 0

Points to Tendulkar scoring runs and India losing. Hehe.

I hope Punter gives Clarke a good bowl today because this is the same ground where he took 6-9 in the infamous dust-bowl test and this pitch also looks pretty similar to that one.
