Clarke shouldn't have been given out today though, either Hodge or Hopes should have opened today.
Shocking last over from RP.

10 deliveries, 12 runs..
Good ball to get Clarke, probably going over but most balls hitting there are going to be given out :)

I think the fact that Clarke was hit on the knee-roll when the ball still had 2.5 meters to travel there is no way he should have been given out, and the speed with which Dar raised his finger was shocking atleast he could taken some time to think.

So many wides are being bowled by the Indians and i thought Taity was the worst when it came down to bowling wides :)!

Punter and Gilly are destroying the Indian bowling atm in bowler friendly conditions, the bowlers have completly failed to use the helpful conditions.

If Hodge fails here he is out of the the team, right? At least the ODI team maybe has a chance in the test side one day...

India has been inconsistent this series but when they have 'gelled' they have 'gelled; well. Every minute I see Dhoni bat, captain and keep I believe that the Indians have finally choosen / found a long-term captain who can take India to the highest level of cricket.

With that said I am also impressed by the young guns India has developed and credit goes to the Board of Control for taking a chance. The likes of Tendulkar, Laxman, Dravid and Ganguly will need to keep one eye permanently fixed over their shoulders as their reputation alone won't save them for ever.

From an Australian point-of-view I am continually surprised by the inclusion of Hodge. His ODI figures promise more but his weakness against spin of any quality is a major chink in his armour. If this issue if not resolved them he will be relegated to the ranks of Australian "what ifs".

Just glad we've one the series already. :)

This is a dire pitch TBH even the flater balls are turning square and not even 30 overs have been bowled on this pitch.

Phew... Haddin had a real close shave there Zaheer dropping a straight forward catch there and what is Haddin trying to do by playing such risky shots.

He missed that so obviously that I actually assumed the appeal was for lbw. In fact, I still think it might have been...
