i have gone on the defensive for bowling orders and batting so hopefully dry up the quick runs and drag it out as long as i possible can and then try and bat to save the match and some dignity lol.

What a catch! Cash takes an extraordinary catch diving to his left off his own bowling. Kone is in disbelief

I'm batting first on a dustbowl, and currently 92/2 with Sandwith and McGregor in (Reed went for 31, unfortunately).

I'm playing Inter Yerma, a pretty fine side boasting a 140k BTR bowler to complement 108k and 98k batsmen, plus three other 50k+ players. The way I see it, every one of their top six players is a level above mine. However, I have the best spinner, so I'm hoping to get them out cheaply on the third day. Assuming I can somehow set a decent total.

Batting bonus points have been hard to find, unfortunately.

Hazard_Hotrods 25/9 at lunch, a good morning's work!

Also pretty pleased that they dragged it out until lunch. With any luck, we'll dither a bit over this last wicket, and won't have time to reach 450 today. Though It's a real toss-up for me at the moment, between badly needed cash and equally badly needed rest!

Day One: Jaffna Jets v OTH CC

First Innings of: OTH CC 93 All Out
Willetts 4/19(17.5), Jeithoon 3/17(11)

First Innings of: Jaffna Jets 2/236(59)
Lucas 125*(172), Ellis 63(134), Quintin 40*(47)

Playing the side coming equal first. As you can see their not that good just got lucky to other teams resting players and an easy draw so far. Plan is the bat out most of tomorrow, send them in with 20 odd overs left and then bowl them out before lunch day 3.

Fairly evenly poised at the end of the first day's play. Annoyed at Derbyshire getting 64 as he's only a mediocre batsman - their tail wagged a bit too much for my liking as well. Could probably have dismissed them for less if I'd played Woods and Turner, but I'm saving them for Friday. I originally set my declaration target to 400, I think I'll keep it that way - hopefully I'll get there by tea tomorrow and get them out relatively cheaply in the 2nd innings. Their 5 bowlers have pfl's of low, fair, moderate, lively and invigorated so hopefully I'll get right on top of them tomorrow. It'd be nice to score maximum batting points, so far I've made 300 twice but never anything more.

Gunning it, probably declare at the end of today, see if any of my batsman are close to milestones.

Saggers Mob won by an innings and 452 runs.

Bowled them out for 14. Hardy top scored in their second innings with 2.

What's with these thrashings btw? Shouldn't the games be closer together or something?

Yeah, the bot games are just boring now. My OD league only has two other human teams this season, so it sucks at the moment.
