Big fan of both Atherton and Holding, but Michael gets my vote.

Holding's voice really annoys me for some reason. His commentary is top notch but the tone really grates. Fan of Atherton though.

Pommie Mbangwa vs Harsha Bhogle vs Navjot Sidhu

Playing Career: A total of 15 tests for Zimbabwe; with the lowest batting average out of any test cricketer batting for more than 10 innings; retired early at the age of 26 due to Zimbabwe's political problems
Commentating Pedigree: He moved quickly into the television commentary box, and has appeared to be a knowledgeable and articulate. He got his chance after impressing tv bosses during a post-test match interview.
Other: * Impressed during the 2007 Cricket World Cup



Harsha Bhogle

Playing Career: None to speak of
Commentating Pedigree: A long a distinguished performer in the commentary box. His career began at the age of 19 with All India Radio. In 1991-2 he became the first Indian to be invited to join the ABC Commentary team for an Indian tour of Australia. Since 1998, he has commentated for ESPN-star
Other: * Author of a biography of Mohammad Azharuddin
* A graduate in Chemical Engineering



Navjot Sidhu

Playing Career: A regular for the Indian team in their batting line up in the 1990s, retiring at the age of 36 in 1999 having played 51 tests.
Commentating Pedigree: He started a now notorious commentating career in 2001, before coming a fixture for ESPN-star and infamous for his 'Sidhu-isms' such as "If ODI cricket is pyjama cricket, then 20:20 is underwear cricket"
Other: * Currently 'serving' a suspended 3 year sentence for manslaughter
