I dont think there is much to choose between them as batsmen.why and why?
I just think Inzi would be a better teammate and Miandad a more difficult opponent.

Thanks.DId I mention how glad I am to have you back on CW?
Woooooosssshhhhhh. All countries in those days had umpires which were very biased towards the home team.
A new challenger appears. It was only lbws that he was immune from..
Who knows his foot-work was such that it was not easy to get him out LBW?BTW,how many times was he given out LBW when playing away from home?I have not followed the game when Javed played but statistics say that Miandad was only out LBW 4 times in 62 home tests! That is something.
Statspider says 29 times.Who knows his foot-work was such that it was not easy to get him out LBW?BTW,how many times was he given out LBW when playing away from home?
Then that can also be argued as bias of those away umpires against Pakistan as much as it can be argued Miandad benefitted a lot from generous home umpiring.Statspider says 29 times.
And Bill Lawry was never given out lbw in a home TestI have not followed the game when Javed played but statistics say that Miandad was only out LBW 4 times in 62 home tests! That is something.
WoW. Why on Earth has no-one ever shown me that before?A new challenger appears.
H after W.Woooooosssshhhhhh.
*Sigh*I have not followed the game when Javed played but statistics say that Miandad was only out LBW 4 times in 62 home tests! That is something.
I just cannot believe that a non "senior" player who wasn't even considered all that as a batsman would get as much preferential treatment as many would seem to claim. One would think that he would get more favorable decisions when he became more established as a batsman, but instead the opposite is true.Or maybe they just meant in the first decade of his career.
Yes thats true to a large extent. Also have a look at this.WoW. Why on Earth has no-one ever shown me that before?
I must have read 30 or 40 times that Javed was immune from lbws in Pakistan; never got given lbw by Pakistani Umpires; etc. I cannot believe that that many people could be mistaken.
Or maybe they just meant in the first decade of his career.
