They have been showing 'classic' matches during the break, WI V Aust. ODI crica 83/84 loved it great stuff, wickets where the bowlers had a chance and hitting a 4 was a achievement
Dosent suprise me he's always been a very good bowler in one day cricket

FFS we need a middle order one of these days. Lambert and Smith are useless. Lucky we had some gun innings by our tail, but man hope thats the last game Lambert plays. Also lets hope Haddin doesn't play many ODIs, Smith useless. Can we have Pilson(sp) back now.

A gun grade player yes, a poor FC/List A cricketer though. A waste of space at this level. I rather they give O'Keefe a run them keep going with him.

Nah, I disagree. He'll come good. Definitely has his moments at FC level with bat and ball and hasn't really been given much of a chance at List A level.

The thing is that his 30 now, we got the most out of two seasons ago when he was at his prime. Looking back probably should have got a run in the side back in his mid 20s. But I just think his a stop gap measure who will never perform at a high level that we need.
Especially without our pace attack and MacGill during internationals. Haddin and Jaques for parts of the season we already have a weak batting line up. We are better off playing a specialist batsmen, Mosies or a proper batting all rounder.
I just don't think we can carry a bits and peices all rounder who isn't good enough to make the side with bat or bowl. End of the day even if he performed to high level, we would be better off playing a specialist over a bits and peices all rounder.
