Me neither really. Just get bored an attack being on the edge of the area for it to then go all the way back to the defenders instead of a ball being played into the box.
Myspace, Bebo, whatever.Facebook wasn't open to the public when he posted that pic though was it?
Seriously, it's the worst part of watching football.
Can dribble it back, just don't pass it back.If you can find a way to always have the ball go forward no matter what the opposition does you'd be a football genius. Sometimes you have to go back to go forward unfortunately.
Maybe even just a case of "don't go back into your own half" could work. Or they could draw a new line that you stay inside once you move inside, making it a bit closer, or somethin'.Can dribble it back, just don't pass it back.
Obviously there'd be some exemptions, like any ball played in the box or crosses (otherwise outswinging corners would be against the rules, which is insane).
Why would you dribble back? Waste of time. Can dribble it back, just don't pass it back.

Agree with Rose here, why would you dribble it back? Surely that's the same thing as passing it back, it just takes longer so it's even worse. Can dribble it back, just don't pass it back.

Rule would make football considerably worse for mine.

If you actually play it, you'll probably need to dribble it backwards at some point, not all the way obviously, but sometimes you need to go to the side to avoid people.Agree with Rose here, why would you dribble it back? Would be a lot better if you could just pass it.If you actually play it, you'll probably need to dribble it backwards at some point, not all the way obviously, but sometimes you need to go to the side to avoid people.
Would certainly improve ball control and dribbling skills. The weakest skills in the English game in fact.Would be a lot better if you could just pass it.
Except in rugby you'd have to run back then pas back, going even further backwards and defeating the point of running anywhere in the first place. Having to pass forwards places the emphasis on going forwards, meaning to take the ball slightly deeper would be opening more opportunities. Running 30 yards back would be stupid, obviously.but it would be like running back in rugby, just not the done thing imo.
