Anyone remember when wCw leaked that Mankind was going to win on a taped raw.
"That'll put butts in seats"

Stupid Bischoff. Actually made people want to watch Raw, and Raw beat Nitro in the ratings for the first time in 2 years or something, that night.

Classic WWF v WCW moment.

wCw had had a massive streak until then.

It was an amazing moment nevertheless. Austin will always be my favourite. Anyone remember just before the first invasion battle, Austin turning up and stunning everyone. Now that's quality Entertainment

when the NWO was formed with Hogan turning was the greatest wrestling moment for me.

Or infact Sting VS the NWO.

hmmm Y2J a no show at No Mercy last night....looks like his return has been pushed back to Cyber Sunday, although would be great if he shows up on RAW tonight...

otherwise an ok PPV, WWE title changing hands several times wasnt predictable, but i wouldnt have paid to see it, esspecially with loads of names like Taker and Kane not even having a match! dunno what that was all about...

but Chinlock Orton as the new champ....boo

Y2J debuted on Raw, would love to see him come in while Orton is having a ****y address as the new champ and Jericho just ripping him to shreds.

Though I fear Jericho may come back as only the GM.

no way, WWE would not offer him in excess of $1m dollars (as has been reported) to come back and be GM, neither would Y2J want that, as he has stated that if he is to come back it will be to wrestle and not publiscise.

I really hope so, but the whole Coach crap lately has made me wonder what Jericho's role will be.

Orton doesn't have the personality to make really good TV with Jericho, Jericho's would have probably worked better with Cena.

I really hope they don't make me him a 'face', almost his whole career he's been 'heel' and even when he's a good guy he's still a prick. If he doesn't call the crowd fat or monkeys or insult a fan favourite I may cry.

Though I don't know, if he's back you never know, things may actually get better with the WWE

the jericho cena rivalry from 2 years ago was actually pretty good, only shame was Y2J was a fodder challenger and it was obvious he was being used just to put over cena.

Regal will remain GM for a while i'm sure, the only reason coach has been used is due to regal being suspended.

As for whether he's a face or heel.....his WWE career upto this point has been pretty much a 50/50 split between face and heel, hes very good at both imo, used to get huge pops around 2000-2002, and massive heat at other times....i expect he will be used as a face...as RAWs only real face of any stature at the moment is HHH, i imagine his debut would be either interupting Orton whilst hes on one of his gabfests or making the save for someone, maybe HHH...

Jericho is never a true face though, he always has the ****y attitude which makes him just a great performer in my opinion. He never loses the real character of Jericho whether the fans love or hate him, I doubt he would save HHH from anything, but interrupting Orton, that IMO is quite likely.

But Orton's no Rock, God that was a great moment.

the Rock had this attitude, but he was probably the biggest face ever produced by WWF/WWE.

I reckon he brought it himself. Great entertainer he was, Jericho's WWF debut while he was talking and all their later dialogues are some of my fondest moments of wrestling history.

Nice to see my name for him stuck. :p

I want the Jericho return to be something like HHH's run in 2002. Returned at the Rumble, won the rumble, won the gold at Wrestlemania, and had an okay-ish face run till Summerslam time when he turned big time on Michaels.

What I really miss in Wrestling these days is the slow-burn. Remember Eddie's turn on Chyna? It was set up for months before they actually pulled the trigger.

But yeah, there's no way they can bring Jericho back as a heel right now, the fans would just refuse to boo him. Face for a while before the inevitable turn on Cena, imo.

The Rock is The Rock.. No one will ever be able to match how much he was/is loved by fans.
I can't believe Cena is going to be out for 6months to a year!

Best thing that could have happened for everyone, really. We get a new Champion FINALLY, see some fresh and new programs for the title for once. And while it sucks for Cena being injured so bad, so much time off will give him a chance to leave the fans minds and FOR GODS SAKE PLEASE come back as a Heel. At least, people will stop being sick of him by the time he returns. I just want him to come back as a Heel.

Disagree, there's been characters more loved by the fans, but he's definitely the most popular of recent times, followed by the likes of Undertaker and Cena ().

I appreciate Cena as a wrestler and all but goodness its ridiculous the way he's portrayed.

HHH and HBK are quite well liked, Hogan to me was probably the most loved wrestler.
