HHH >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Kennedy

Hate Kennedy

Orton > HHH > Kennedy IMO

Love that arrogant prat, he just seems like he's SUPPOSED to be out there. That it really is his life, reminds me of Jericho and the Rock spliced, funny how he's a legend killer, because out of the current roster he's one of the few younger blokes who will likely become a legend.

Orton is very bland, in every sense, his in ring ability is mediocre, is character has now become very boring... and i wouldnt like to see him as champion...

when he came on the scene with evolution a few years ago...he was good, he looked fitter, worked matches better, his character was better....its all gone down hill,

not to mention the fact that matches involving him are often incredibly boring.

I agree. Orton won't become a legend, and in fact, i doubt any of the newcomers currently will become legends, except, perhaps, Punk

I disagree totally and think you all may be just swept away with his character, he is quick in the ring and for a man his size that is mighty impressive, his moves snap together hard. I hate the amount of crap we see him doing like pointless attacks with chairs and so on but I saw a clip on youtube the other day that just summed up his skill.

A punch was thrown, he ducked around behind it and half turns to his opponent, a lazy arrogant look, they turn and he snaps an RKO.

He's underrated for his actual ability. His character does get annoying but only because he has no real foil, a good vs bad routine only really works if you have two people up to the task, you can't just have bad and less bad. Orton will always be a great bad guy.

I've watched little to no ECW and haven't seen much of Punk, wasn't impressed TBH, though that was months ago. Must have another look.

That's the worst example ever.

The only reason Orton is on the upper card is because the current roster lacks serious depth

Heck I'm not a fan at all of single moves summing up any kind of a wrestlers skill, but that move was wonderful. A completely fluid casual destructive motion that made me wince, which is something modern wrestling never makes you do.

Orton's nowhere near being a really great wrestler, but he has far more potential than any of the other tripe around (excluding Punk due to having not seen much of him), Batista is always going to wrestle that way, Cena needs a total character re-working which is very very rare in wrestling, his character was created on a pop culture trend and now its no longer as relevant.

Bring back the Hurricane.

I'd like to hear your reasoning behind that....

as for the Hurricane, i prefer him so much more in his current persona, shame he's out injured, really good wrestler.

I can't stand Chinlock Orton. I wish I could poop in his training bag. Douche.

Batista is a 40 year old gassed up freak. He's not going to last too long.

And btw, Orton is a bit better in the ring than before. Remember when he completely missed the RKO he was supposed to hit on Jericho? Y2J just had to sit there and look in disbelief that he had to actually look ridiculous enough to let Orton try another time.

His butchering of the English grammar is even more unforgivable.

I really hope HHH turns heel and gets the title so he can drop it to face Kennedy at WM. Hunter's the most over worker in the company right now, and he deserves the title by default.

Bring back "Sugar" Shane Helms, give him the Vertaebreaker and watch all kinds of kick-assery.

Alas, that move is deemed too dangerous for a WWE ring, so we won't see it anytime soon.

haha good post overall.

that botched RKO was hilarious, Y2J just looked like he didnt know what to do.

haha quality.

I think it would be better if HHH was face and Dropped the title to heel kennedy, granted HHH is far better as a heel...but i'm getting tired of seeing the face win in the main event all the time at wrestlemania....also its been years since the winner of the royal rumble didnt win the title at mania, this needs to change surely...i mean last time this happened was WM16 when the rock/big show both lost to HHH. That was a great end to a great night in the WWF.

Mainevents since then at mania, barring a few (Brock Vs Angle, WMXX triple threat) have been disticntly uninteresting as it always seems inevitable that the face character will come out with the title...boooo, i want to see the heel win in the mania main event!

Yeah rest-hold Orton is vastly overrated and his current psychopath thing really doesn't do it for me because his facial expressions and mannerisms are farcical. I've already been over my reasons for not liking Batista way too many times, cba to get into it again but suffice to say, can't wait to see the back of him.

I'd like to see more of Umaga personally, great worker imho with a great moveset and makes a good heel.

Tbh i'll always remember Umaga for his days as part of the awful Jamal and Rosey tag team...bad.....

Umaga is ok...and makes the most of his abilities, but his one dimensional character means that he will never be a truly great face or heel, and his in ring work where its usually passable is nothing to make a fuss about, seeing as his only move of any note is the somoan drop....other than that its just an endless beat down followed by a somoan spike...which is pretty crap in itself....

I myself cant understand why WWE stopped pusing shelton Benjamin after building him up as a great face prior to WM21, great athlete, great performer.....champion material.

looking back at the earlier part of this thread and to see people talking about performers like christian when he was still part of wwe makes me realise quite how bad wwe has got since then...at the time 2003-2005 didnt seem good at all, but my word does it seem good in comparison to what RAW/Smackdown is curently like..

What about Austin v Rock? Then again, they were both faces until Austin turned at the end of the match.

You forgot John 'Superman' Cena.

Another thing that grinds my wrestling gears is the constant release of spoliers onto the Internet. Why ruin a potentially great moment?

goes without saying that it was probably the best mania mainevent of all time, but then again as you say they were both faces....until the outcome, truly shocking moment, but great, sometimes wonder what would have happened if they had chose for Austin to remain face at that point, at the time i wished that had happened...but looking back now the Heel turn was probably for the best.

i guess they are just desperate for ratings...i remember when stone cold and undertaker were out for ages between 99-00 there were no "4 weeks till he returns" promos being shoved in our faces all the time, they get to me more than the spoilers...although i suppose they are spoilers really....

speaking of Spoilers, TNA officials have leaked that Jericho has seemingly signed a new deal with WWE so guess what happens this sunday folks?!

Not only was that an amazing match, but the build up to it was phenomenal.
