Also, in another thread, someone said that AB will slowly transit into the SA keeper, well, it will be a while yet - 4 years or so, Boucher will easily be at the 2011 WC.

On a side note, is AB a natural keeper or is he a Dravid/Solanki/Maher type?

Natural keeper I think, just happens to be a better option for a pure batting slot than a few of the other batsman in South Africa. Well, in the selectors eyes.

Jeez Goughy, England's got tremendous depth in keepers - listen to the names they've been able to rotate through:
Jones, Reed, Jones, Reed, Nixon, Prior, Mustard...

Not many countries have so many of the same type of player who can so easily reproduce each others performance!

Yeah, it's astonishing, and really begs the question of how Thami Tsolekile got anywhere near the side, quotas or no quotas.

Yeah exactly.
Didn't realise Boucher was ahead of Gilchrist until the record now.... i thought Gilchrist was just behind Healy in terms of being envolved in dissmisal of batsman.
