Hmm not sure if Wazza has ever played out on the flanks before for United TBH, so i think playing him in that role wouldn't bring out the best in him.

aussie, where have you been while we were playing in Europe away games? 
Sadly, he is played on the left for the start of such games up until the point that we go a goal down after a miserable effort to contain the opposition, then he is allowed to attack as a proper hole-striker and suddenly we start playing well.

Well yea, so long ago now tend to forget..
Probably some of the early CL league games last season that i usually tend to not pay attention to. But that alone should show even if he has ability as a winger he is much better coming through the centre. Sort of the same thing Villa are doing with Agbonlahor this season.Loony BoB said:
