Semi Finals and Finals

Considering his form, I would definitely bump Yuvraj up a bit. He's the best batsman in this line up...shouldn't come lower than #3.
Considering the earlly wicket, no earlier than #4. You want to give him a platform so he can play with freedom, if possible.

Agree with this, I think India made the right choice. Uthappa and then Yuvraj. Dhoni to bat at #5 if India get a very good platform.

Uthappa gone, India in a bit of trouble. Yuvraj to once again play the big innings.

India's real onslaught has always started from the 9th over mark in this series, from there on in they just go beserk!
Its not a good thing to always expect Yuvraj to do it for India.
P.S : Whats up with all these players getting injured in this tournament??

If India are going to get near 180, they need to turn it up a bit. It's early but Yuvi doesn't seem that comfortable today.

Yuvi struggling against the spinners, Gambhir needs to step it up and take some pressure off him.

As i said before India can't expect Yuvraj to perform in every game, someone else needs to step up today and play a good knock.

They won't have to if Yuvraj carries on in this rich vein of form. Gambhir is the tournaments second highest run-scorer, Rohit Sharma and Robin Uthappa have both played big innings. Dhoni is arguably the best ODI batsman in the world. It's hardly a case of other people not being able to step up, rather they haven't needed to that often because Yuvraj has been dominating so much.

High expectations don't go well with Indian players and the Indian team as they have proved it in the past, when they play freely without the baggage and pressure of expectations thats when they play their best cricket.

There is no such thing as less than high expectations in a country like India, no matter how rubbish you are.

Top 50 from Gambhir, starting to impress me. Might actually be worth watching.

Yuvraj is awfully sedate. Not a bad knock, but not what he has done previously. Gambhir seems to be turning it on a bit though.

These 7-8 run overs are not enough on this pitch though.

Permsy, mate you rate Dhoni as (arguably) the best odi batsman in the world??
I would say Haydos, Ponting and Tendulkar are the best odi batsmen in the world, there is nothing much to choose between them really but Haydos might have his nose slightly ahead.
