There's a difference between calling them laid back, and saying they don't have the concentration. Crowe was rightfully censured for making a pretty nasty generalisation about Maori and Pacific Islanders. Saying they don't have the concentration and discipline to sit around and play cricket for a couple of hours is tantamount to saying they don't have the concentration to study, or read or pretty much anything.

Made for so frustrating watching this, Kiwis didn't even make a game of it. Could see the look on Vettori's face, he was more than just annoyed.
