Voted for Franklin as his batting technique and ability in my book is better than all but Styris and McMillans. His bowling is genine lethal strike bowling in tests and I suspect will improve that ODI bowling. Styris and McMillan aren't really allrounders, Oram's bolwing does not cut it at test level, and I'm rebelling against the trend and going for the underrated guy.
I voted for Franklin as well, but there's no doubt in my mind Styris has a much better batting technique. Styris ranks right up there with the best in the world in terms of technique, IMO.

I would say Oram, even though in the Twenty/20 form of the game his bowling is definitely below his standard. He is beginning to develop his batting to become more consistent and it would be good if his bowling returned to the standard it was in 2003/04 home series against South Africa and Pakistan.
Sorry... how exactly did he bowl well in 2003\04? The flat pitches of that season blunted him - it was the greentops of 2002\03 that he profited on.

Big Jake is a green top bowler, on flat decks he usually gets slaughtered these days. It is actually frustrating to see a 6 ft. 6 in. giant just lumbering into the crease and bowling at 125 km/h.

I was talking about the ODI form of the game, especially the game at Wellington against Pakistan where he took 2 for 20odd while everyone else got hammered, ie Mills. In the test match form he is not the most prolific wicket taker like Cairns was at his peak, more of a restraining or partnership bowler.
