Soft dismissal for Yuvi. So ironic that Mascarenhas got him out too, because I reckon Yuvi would have wanted some revenge!

India need to settle here, I'm nervous.

(re Shah) No need for quotation marks: it was definitely off spin, it turned. :p

It was definitely dire though.
Well, he's got away with two overs, but surely one of these gusy is going to absolutely take him to the cleaners before long.

EDIT
Alternatively, he could take out Dravid. OMG.

Haha, now he's got Dravid! Pitched outside leg going further down as well - dire ball. Dire spell really, can't believe he's getting away with it. Good luck to him though I suppose. :p

What would you do with Robin Uthappa? You have one of the best specialist openers (and a Test contender) batting at number seven!

I don't know why a player of Dravid's caliber chickens around, shouldn't he come to bat at #3 and control the game from there with all his experience, ATM with the asking rate well above 6 he comes into bat and its not something that suits his batting style.
EDIT: As i type this Dravid gets out, what a waste of a wicket.

It looks like its Shah's day, first he scored his madien ton and now he has also picked the wicket of the Indian captain with a dire piece of bowling.

Disagree with that. Over the last few years, Dravid has done quite well in the middle order as a link between the middle and end of the innings - quite often scoring quite quickly when required. Batsmen like Yuvraj, Gambhir et al are better up the order a bit to set the pace - Dravid is a very adaptable batsman who can bat to any situation. I wouldn't mind seeing him at 3 either, but it'd leave all the experience in the top 3 and make India extremely vulnerable to a good new ball spell - I think he's invaluable coming in where he does.

I mean comeon Dravid can easily come at 3 take his time settle down at the crease and then control the game from there.
His decision to bat at 5 would make sense if there would have been a suitable bloke to bat a 3, but thats not the case with India.

Whip him (Shah) off now IMO. Bound to go the distance eventually if he's left on.
That would be my take on it.

Anderson still has 5 overs, doesn't he? Needs to come on now if he isn't to be underbowled. I reckon that particular spell could seal the game one way or the other.

Given they like to stack their team with openers, there is a more suitable guy to bat at 3. Gambhir and Uthappa shouldn't be in team at all IMO, but if they are going to be there, they certainly shouldn't both be down at 6 and 7. I like Dravid at 5 really. I'd probably have him at 4 if I picked my own team.
