Pup Clarke
Cricketer Of The Year
Not really.I am not watching the game but the earlier deliveries seemed to be more or less short of a length. So, good setup by AA, may be?

Yep, fair points. Would still love to see a quickfire knock from one of them come series end.It is in a way, but I also think it has been good to see Bell begin to come of age, Cook show signs of being able to cut it in this format, Chawla bowl well etc. This series has been interesting in that new players are establishing themselves - it's something different to watch and look forward to for the future.
Should be an 8 imo at the moment.Haha, yeah. Supposed to be a test #6.. *shudders*
ok.Not really.
And most probably thought he'd kick on and become a quality batsmen after 03 and 04.Freddie is embarassing to watch with the bat sometimes. What a waste of talent.
Should be. Won't be though. Too many fears of him breaking down with the ball. AFAIC though, not fit to bowl reliably: not in the team.Should be an 8 imo at the moment.
Would be surprised if England put him at 7 tbh.Should be. Won't be though. Too many fears of him breaking down with the ball. AFAIC though, not fit to bowl reliably: not in the team.
He will be at 6 for the tests in Sri Lanka. He will most likely fail, but he will be there.Would be surprised if England put him at 7 tbh.
I'd be backing Trevor Gripper to make him look silly.Jack McNamara would stand a good chance of getting Fred out seeing as how useless he is against spin.
Four wickets though. Wicket every 2 overs. I'd take Agarkar's bowling performance of 4 top order non-death-bowling wickets at five and a half any day of the week.Agarkar 9 overs brought 9 fours for England. Four in each over
A fact which (a) has been the case for most of this year and (b) has some how escaped the notice of England's management. In this XI, he's actually batting two places too high. Result? Even more pressure on Collingwood, Shah & Bopara.FFS, can this guy (Flintoff) actually bat any more, that was the most atrocious foot movememt I've seen, it was basically a half volley. h ereally does look as though he could get out any ball.
Yeah - Bopara at 8 with Flintoff at 6 in this situation is utter madness. So was Prior opening, for that matter. I know England want to make better use of powerplays and get some impetus into their innings througout, but they need to rethink their order in situations like this. Bell opening, Shah at 3, Bopara at 6, Prior at 7, Flintoff at 8 would have made much more sense given the total they were chasing.A fact which (a) has been the case for most of this year and (b) has some how escaped the notice of England's management.
