***Official*** India in England

Agarkar and Powar are nowhere good enough to be 7 and 8 for India. You have to get a genuine allrounder and/or go with 4 bowlers but there is no way that India can continue with this lineup.

It's been a while since I have seen such sweet timing as Dravid's knock. Pity he didn't get what would have been a fabulous hundred.

Anderson was good with the new ball though, really. Even the best can get some tap at the death when the opposition has wickets in hand on a flat pitch, and he finished with the second best figures anyway.
Yeah your right in many ways. It's just been an ongoing thing with him for years, he looks world-class one day, and you think he's turned the corner. Then he looks relatively mediocre, probably more my problem then his, wishing for greatness from an England bowler.

I agree with you about his career in general - but I think you're being a bit harsh regarding today's performance as I think he bowled pretty well.

Dravid's innings > Tendulkar's imo.

Imagine what Haroon15 would say when Dravid has scored 90 at a strike rate of 145.
To be fair, Dravid came in after the openers saw the new ball off. But I agree, fantastic innings 92 in just 63 deliveries. And  at this:

Dravid working his magic on the runrate. That guy seriously lacks an ODI brain.
Don't worry, I thought it was a bad decision for him to come over Dhoni too.....

Looks like Powar is going to be a crowd favourite, much as Leverock would be if Bermuda were ever to come here ... but when he dived to stop that ball there was a red cricket ball on the outfield. What the hell was that doing there?

1) Both of them were slogging.
2) Powar > Agarkar. Even Chawla > Agarkar. Hell, Zaheer > Agarkar.

I hope the Twenty20 haters noticed the skill at the death there, from Dravid and from Flintoff.
The first half of Dravid's innings was just as important as the second though. Furthermore, skill or not - a big meh for me in many ways. There's lots of skill in building a ship in a bottle as well but I wouldn't want to watch someone day that all day.

Dravid is so good, dead set. Wonderful innings. Yuvraj was looking brilliant as well, took an awesome catch to get him out. Sucks wrt to Sachin, but he put his side in a matchwinning position and right back in the series and that means a hell of a lot more than any personal milestone.

Top notch stuff from Flintoff as well. Let's hope the injury's nothing serious.
