Woot. Thanks to the other guy being nice enough to throw the game without me even having to ask, and the team currently in 4th place getting smashed, I've managed to get a big enough NRR to finish 4th for the season.

HT Holdens 79 (32.4)
Canning 4/14 (10), Potgieter 2/16 (6.4), Fernando 2/19 (5)

Magical Ponies 0/80 (9.3)
Kilkenny 44* (27), Griffin 35* (30)

HT Holdens Magical Ponies
Top Order: abysmal competent
Middle Order: feeble superb
Lower Order: abysmal abysmal
Seam Bowling: abysmal quality
Spin Bowling: worthless proficient
Fielding: feeble woeful
MOTM: Kilkenny

Was my goal at the start of the season, so I'm happy.

We could really open this game up here as i don't think they have many batsmen left. De Zoysa is a Sri Lankan NT Batsmen, so i say his masterful or equisite atleast.

Code:
End of Over 27: 142-3, runrate=5.26
Sishayi 7-0-38-0
De zoysa* 71 (75 balls)
Harris 0 (0 balls)

Last Wicket: Gowshall Run Out 0 (FOW: 142/3)

Playoff games are up, ive got a feeb-feeb feeb-feeb or something. Gonna be a tough match.

Smith has a bot:laugh:

T20 league:

3rd in V
5th in V
7th in V

Should be easy, checking the ratings/squads... I think the highest rating is woeful. 2nd XI here i come.

Won my last game of the season to finish in 6th place.

Team Dominate won the toss and elected to bat.
First Innings of: Team Dominate
Total (46.4 overs, 10 wickets) 227
Wills 5/31
Gordon 2/46

First Innings of: oz fans XI (play as normal)
Total (30.1 overs, 0 wickets) 229
Grahame* 97(71)

Really happy with that win. Wills was the best of my bowlers this season with 30 wickets (including three 5-fers) at an average of 25. Grahame was the best of my bastmen with 971 runs at an average of 107.

Got drawn in a tough 20/20 group with two sides in higher divisions than mine. Should be able to come at least 3rd though.

Was hoping to bowl them out for under 200, but tail hanged around. Murali got 4, Willetts 2, Jeithoon, Sishayi and Matheru one each. They got two good bowlers, a decent and two proficient. So if i can get past their openers i might be able to pull this off. Win means nothing more then a bit of pride though.

Got a very easy 20/20 group again, all Div 5 and all crap (nothing above feeble).

Playing a weakened side in my meaningless league game, got them 10-3 but then Battrick flicked the switch that meant the pitch went from minefield to road and they keep hitting plenty of runs off every over with my best two bowlers still bowling.

That's now 44 off the last 7 overs, what a crock of tripe.

Ended up losing by 20 runs, had a pretty bad BT Collaspe when from like 3/170 to all out for 201. Granted it was from their top bowler who is most likely sensational. Still annoying though. Ellis got a 77, Clayton a 42 and Muralitharan 35 not out.

Code:
And that's the end of the match. Bideford Haymakers won by 20 runs.
Bideford Haymakers 221-10
Jaffna Jets 201-10
Ratings were pretty good: Strong/Respectable (Bat), Strong/Proficient (Bowl). A level up in seam and spin.

Slow pitches causing some twitchy moments in my league; I'm struggling to bowl out someone with a fairly long batting lineup, but the run rate isn't horrible so I'm not too fussed. I really haven't gotten the hang of slow pitches yet though.

End of Over 25: 100-3, runrate=4.00
Oldman 3-0-11-0
Barnard* 32 (39 balls)
Manjula 49 (76 balls)
Last Wicket: Mcaliskey lbw b. Pead 7 (FOW: 42/3)

If I win and second place fails to beat the league leader, I'll come in second. The leader is 127-3 also on a slow pitch right now; could be an interesting one...

**** i got another DII side in the Twenty20 Cup, they came 4th in their league. But looking at their ratings i might be able to beat them with some luck.

a very...easy?

I've got a fairly difficult 20/20 group, 1 strong/strong/superb/superb, another strong/prof/strong/med, and then a feeble...

After another 10 wicket victory i've now auto promoted to Div IV into a league that i should at least be competitive in. I should be a real chance for 5th or 6th spot, which may of course change depending on the play-off games.

Haha in my 20/20 league, have two insane sides and a side slightly lower than me. Hate 20/20. :(

This should be easily chaseable (famous last words). Oleary missed out on a career-best 7-fer thanks to the last wicket being a "run out".

End of Over 49: 193-10, runrate=3.94
Oleary 9-2-28-6
Sheffield* 5 (14 balls)

Elsewhere (since Mahindinho doesn't seem to be online today), Withington effectively guarantee themselves the relative safety of a playoff with this first innings effort against Inter Yerma:

End of Over 50: 278-9, runrate=5.56
Jeffries 10-1-66-3
Reed* 55 (36 balls)
Hirst 0 (1 balls)
