Panesar improving his figures against the dross and his first 4 went for 25, I remain to be convinced of the point of him in an ODI side when he doesn't keep it tight like say Mascarenhas does sometimes, doesn't take wickets if the pitch is dry and is obviously a weak fielder and batsman. Much rather have a spinner who can field and bat, there are a few candidates who'd be as effective with the ball as Panesar has been in OD cricket.

TBH, very dissapointed in how badly Panesar has bowled both in Tests and ODIs. This was a big test, especially with the Indian top order not in form and throughout the Tests, he just didn't look penetrative at all. Even when he got some turn...an average of 100+ against the top order is pretty bad.

Explanations start without an ask
What the hell? How I am I explaining myself? I am only stating the fact that my prediction is still on. I don't need to explain anything, my prediction hasn't been proven wrong yet.

You should be the one explaining yourself, always running away like a coward when things go wrong for you. Now you can't even accept a single avatar challenge, yet you make all these big predictions. And seriously you don't have even a little bit of faith in your prediction to accept a two week challenge? Pathetic. I suggest you not make the prediction in the first place. Cuz' you're just making a fool out of yourself if you can't back it up by accepting it.

So you're the one who should be doing the explaining.

Seriously, you behave like a 10 year old... can't believe you're actually 22. :@

Agreed, actually. He's rarely been a factor in any of his oneday games, so you might as well have Yardy or Dalrymple batting at 8. Obviously it hasn't mattered today, but Mascarenhas is batting too high and that will be a problem sooner or later.

EDIT
Or even Schofield ...
