It rather spectacularly didn't.
would indeed be a welcome addition to the arsenal squad, although one feels hleb has handled the premiership perfectly well so far since moving to england. Can’t really see Mikel at Man U but I do believe he would be an excellent addition to Arsenal, for his the sort of direct player that Arsenal are currently missing. And unlike Hleb, his got the physical conditioning to handle the demands of the Premiership.
Seem to remember being impressed with Hleb when he was just bought. He put in a top notch performance against Chelsea (I think) but he's sort of drifted in and out of games too much to be a consistent threat.would indeed be a welcome addition to the arsenal squad, although one feels hleb has handled the premiership perfectly well so far since moving to england.
fantastic work rate, and this only being only his third premiership season i see no reason why he cannot push on and reach top form.Seem to remember being impressed with Hleb when he was just bought. Nothing meant but Chelsea to win the treble when they start the season with so many players injured and the African Cup of Nations robbing them of some of their best players? I'll just put it down to ignorance.
I know it's only 2 games into the season, but LOLIf I were Clapo I'd accept the ignorant point.
That’s what Arsenal said last year... Although, I agree I wouldn’t get that concerned just yet. As Martin O’Neil said, “its absolute nuts” making such critical judgements of a side so early on into a season.I think a lot of people are forgetting here - last time United failed to win either of their first two games, we ended up with the treble. What has happened in the first two games means absolutely nothing, and I'd far rather have slipped up now than at the end of the season. On top of that, we lost to both Reading and Portsmouth last season, and won the league.
I shall start worrying when we stop creating chances. Fact is we have done all but won our first two games, I have been generally pleased with performance, and I see no reason to get all worried. Now clearly, I'd rather we had played rubbish and won the games, but this early on in the season I'm still reasonably encouraged.
Completely agreed. Though glad we got Tevez now as my feeling that we'd be short of strikers at the start came to pass. Imagine if the transfer hadn't gone through. Against his transfer though still as it meant Utd lost some players who would have been valuable now. Rossi would have certainly scored some of the chances we've had but no use crying over spilt milk. Time for the other players to step up and learn to finish.I think a lot of people are forgetting here - last time United failed to win either of their first two games, we ended up with the treble. Says it all.I know it's only 2 games into the season, but LOL
What's the difference between a triangle and Manchester United?
A triangle has 3 points.
