***Official*** India in England

But what if they take it and win, India should declare only when the win for England is totally out of reach, but still enough time that if they bowl well they can get the win. The series still is on the line and nothing should be jeopardised for that, imo.
Completely agree. The series is far more important than the match, especially given India's overseas history.

Pasag just stole the words out of my... keyboard (???)

Winning 2-0 would be nice, but honestly when you look back at this series, its not the scoreline but the winner of the series which is the bottom line. Don't risk it (even though I think its almost impossible for India to lose from here).

This is what irks me about Dravid's decision. We're going at just over 2 rpo for what? Nothing is being gained other than wasting overs atm. I understand they can't score freely because of the conditions and the situation, but its just so stupid.

Ganguly is going really well though. Dare I say it, is he a better test batsman now then he was/has been for many many years? Even possibly from 2000-2005?

LOL @ the bronx cheers Dravid received when he moved from 2 to 3.

Who was it calling for Dravid to be the next Tendulkar of the 90s? :p

Note, I am clearly not having a go at Dravid!

Regardless of his form, wouldn't Indian fans be slightly apprehensive of KP in a run chase. Mitigating factors in this instance is that England need to win to draw the series and that England haven't lost a Test series at home since 2001.

In saying that, I'd hate to see India bat out the game.
