***Official*** India in England

Australia don't enforce the follow on because they have the bowling attack to get sides out in the final two to three sessions. India don't have that, and additionally, they have a nice and stories history of overseas batting collapses.

So are you saying he should have made England follow on or not with this statement?

Made to follow on. If they make England follow on, they dont give them a chance to win the game because if they look like they are getting close to the total (which they wouldn't until tomorrow), they can start delaying a little bit.

Plus, India can bat for a session if need be, but here if they get all out in two sessions with say 120-130 on the board....England can have a tough but very chaseable 450.

I can't believe India gave this chance to England to get right back into the game. It helps their morale and now they are all going to make themselves believe that they have a shot at winning.

Completely backfired it's safe to say.

Yep, poor captaincy by Dravid. Not enforcing the follow-on is acceptable sometimes, but in this case, it wasn't.
