57 & 77* is hardly "not showing up" but agreed he's making far too many 50s without converting into tons, doesn't seem right.

Blazing matches from Hayden and Viv in particular - if we can have such a high scoring Test in Sydney, imagine what Adelaide could produce...

Well, I mean by his own lofty standards of course. 4 test matches and no tonne? Doesn't seem possible for The Don.

I hate to say it, but I think Trumper needs to be dropped for the Adelaide test. He started with a bang, but he's been woeful since. Bobby Simpson would be the perfect player to bring in, but he wasn't in the squad, so I'd give Morris another go. Davidson (was he in the squad?) or Lindwall should come back in for O'Reilly. The selectors should admit their mistake and recall Harvey in Ponting's place... Dropping Chappell for Waugh might not be a bad idea either. May as well give him a go - Greg has had more chances than some and hasn't really contributed enough. 4 changes all up then.

My XI would be:
Morris, Hayden, Bradman, Harvey, Waugh, Miller, Gilchrist, Davidson, Warne, Lillee, McGrath

Yep, that's pretty much as Adharcric called it before, and I'd have to agree with both of you. Trumper definitely hasn't followed up his initial ton sadly, and the Tiger has been disappointing. My only concern is that I think at least one of Chappell or Punter will surely come good in Adelaide...

Can someone post the updated series stats now too?

I can't help but think that surely The Don is going to ton up in at least one of the innings in Adelaide. A big 187* or similar... :)

He couldn't possibly go 5 Tests without a ton could he? Given his fifties to centuries conversion rate, we're already pushing belief that he could have so many half tons this series without tonning up in any of them.

Let's start thinking about the squads for the return series. I'll post tour stats later today and try to get the squads and fixtures settled in the next day or two.

Haha, VC4. How could Bradman not pass 100 once in the series?
He had a decent series - just no tons. That said, he is certainly due for a huge one. Marshall looks to be in good touch though so it should be a tight contest.

I think I may have wasted his form while testing the lineups (AUS vs SL and WI vs NZ). Bradman scored 170* in that.

Dire. What a drubbing.

Given the collection of cricketing immortals on show, could there be a more surprising Man of the Series than Conrad Hunte?

Whoa, what a spanking Australia received here, Marshall kicks ass. I think its safe to say Australians have been over rated over the years.
