Battle of the Test Matches

Barbados 99, but that Melbourne encounter was as close of an encounter as any in cricket history. The story of the Ashes video DVD covers it well.

Stapel

International Regular
Third Ashes 2005 test at Old Trafford. England being on top, Warne saving the Aussies from the follow-on with a 90, Glenn McGrath's face when facing the last couple of deliveries, Aussie happiness, as if they had won the ashes back after 50 years, whereas all they did was drawing a test match, English disappoitment (that pick where they are sipping from their beers on the balcony).
Ma, that match just had it all!

Hobart because:

1. Pakistan's attack was way better than England's, which was meh.
2. That photo is one of the great cricketing snaps, imo.
3. The win was more down to Australia's own great chasing than a capitulation like England's at Adelaide.
Edit: interesting Australia appears in all quarter final tests in this challenge.
