The Wheel is Forever
Only man who can work Richard the Lionheart into cricket commentary tbh.
*wins*And on that betting note, my $50 on Tendulkar to top score in this innings at 4.50 is looking good.
same here.. always thought he was over-rated for mine from start anyway.I'm pretty fed up with Laxman too TBH. He cannot bat with the tail and does not have the right temperament for his position anymore.
another 23 overs according to cricinfo. How many overs till end of the day? Play attacking now, target a lead of 300 and declare giving England 8-10 overs to play.
As much as it definitely seems as if Laxman is a bit on the downhill slide, I still fail to see how Yuvraj Singh is a better batsman. If someone had really put their hand up in first class cricket for a few consecutive seasons in India with the bat, I'd have no real problem with Laxman being dropped at this stage.. but if the next best option is Yuvraj Singh, I'd be sticking with Laxman.Something like 20 dot balls in a row with the lead at 250. Wont hit boundaries and cant run singles. Kumble has now struck the last 3-4 4's of the innings with the one from Laxman a distant 12 overs ago.
Should be dropped next test for Yuvi. Hope he gets out and lets Zaheer take a few whacks.(yess!! that happened as this mail was being typed)
Nice. Even if we have around 18 more, we can play 8 overs or so, declare and give England around 10 assuming 2 overs for innings change.another 23 overs according to cricinfo.
