We need a partnership right now or this match and series victory could be over ina flash. The pressure is all on Bell and Prior. They need to get in an set and get a huge partnership.

England pin on Bell and Prior. Indians should tight the screw now. If they take things light (as they normally do when they get early wickets) , England can come back strongly with a good 6th wicket partnership

These conditions are tailor made for our seamers, especially Sidebottom who plays his CC here, it's far from over imo.

We could still easily end up with a decent score here, India’s troubles with lower middle orders is well documented but to their credit their patience and discipline has been excellent thus far.

Lol great stuff from Ganguly. Top bowling from India and really highlights the direness of the lack of tour matches re: being all over the place in the first Test. Same thing will happen in Australia where iirc they only only have the one tour match as well before the Tests, so by the time they get used to the conditions, it will be too late. It's a real shame tbh.

Anyways, still abit disappointed by Sreesanth, who I guess I overrated somewhat. The ball that got Collingwood wasn't anything special tbh and he definitely looks like he's lost whatever he had in SA. Collingwood's lucky as well there aren't many batsmen waiting in the wings to take his place.Anyways top bowling from India, let's hope they don't muck around now and finishing things off quickly before either of these two can do any damage.

I wonder what the forecast is for the weekend. This should be a tight game, but if conditions ease up then you can see Dravid & co doing a whole lot better than at Lord's. England, otoh, have now collapsed 3 times out of 3 against these guys, and you wonder if they have the ability to raise their game.

Indians are lucky on the first stuff as they won the toss. Had Eng won the toss, they would have elected to bowl and Ind would have been in the same situation (even worse) had they batted first.
