I think it was my great-great uncle opened the bowling with Harold Larwood for Nottinghamshire once.
Good grief, how utterly ridiculous. One of the best spells I ever bowled went wicketless: 25-16-17-0.
6 dropped catches, a couple of plum LBWs that weren't given (I still don't know why) and I beat the bat. A lot. But at the end of the day all I had to show for it was a good economy rate...
To balls that pitch halfway down (at not-unreasonable pace) though? If there's one thing I can do, it's get forward and defend!
Haha I wish, I think his name was Peatefield.Bill Voce?

That takes some doing, TBH.
I think I was using stronger language than that to my boys in the field...Good grief, how utterly ridiculous.
I was thereThat was that game, but it wasn't a Twenty20 game. Also got tapped about by Liam Buchanan, who has played probably 10 games of OD cricket for Victoria. The wicket sort of made up for it though.
Actually, did bowl 2 overs for 28 in a Twenty20 once.
Pics???? No thanks.Got my first action that day. Thanks Jack Mack
