No...it was long long ago...name recently mentioned somewhere...8-) :laugh:
Okay I was thinking of Roy Dias (I think) who allowed himself to be dismissed off the last ball of the day, so the players would not have to come back the following day (SL were a long, long way behind). It ended up raining all of the next day:laugh: :-O

Sir Jack Hobbs it was - who apparently let himself be bowled after a dispute between the 2 teams in the headingly Test of the Ashes series in 1909.

Wonder if it happened ever after that ?
