Spot on. Went to bed just after lunch when India were 5 down. Thought they might hang on but seemed only 1 wicket form disaster.

Woke up this morning feeling meh, then heard the score on the radio - suddenly, the sun is shining brighter, the birds are singing, I've got rhythm, I've got music, who could ask for anything more?

England fans could.

Forget dropping Tendulkar or Karthik atm, the person who should be dropped is Laxman. Atleast Tendulkar can bowl a bit and his fielding is much better than Laxman's.

Laxman is the one who should be dropped for Yuvi, he is quite useless atm tbh.

Can't believe India got out of that. I'm relieved, but still after bowling England out for 298 in the first innings, I felt that that was already their "phew we got out of what looked like a score of 500+, now let's win this test"

Instead they bat like ****. Hopefully they lift in the second test.

Judging from your avatar, you want all the bowlers dropped first. And Tendulkar's bowling nor fielding is anywhere near the standard to make up for his happiness in batting. Yuvraj Singh is not a Test caliber batsman...though he might be better batting with the tail than VVS.

Bleh, too late to get Akash Chopra into the squad I suppose.

Laxman and Tendulkar should be at the front of the firing line but neither should be dropped just yet. Give them a chance in the second test to convert those starts - it's not like they couldn't even get going at Lord's. By the way, Laxman is far from a poor test fielder and is one of our better fielders because he can stay in close-in positions all day long (slip and silly point). Jaffer, Ganguly, Kumble and Zaheer are the weak links in the field.

Ahh just shutup.

Yeah but what I meant to say was Tendulkar atm is more useful to the side than Laxman.

Never said he was poor, just said Tendulkar was much better because he is far more versatile. Tendulkar's not only a good slip fielder like Laxman, he is much better in the outfield as well. Is faster and has a better arm.

Not much of a tail, really. Kumble can stick around but he's clearly slowed down. Zaheer is the best of the lot but even he blew it today. RP Singh and Sreesanth both have ability but one is an idiot at the crease and the other thinks he's a specialist batsman every once in a while.

Laxman is just as good as Tendulkar in the slips and he's very good at silly point. Outfielding is not such a big deal in test cricket. Either way, the runs they score should decide their place in the team.

:lol::laugh::lol::laugh::lol: This calls for the special avatar-snappage treatment! Too bad this one's an animated-gif that can't really be snapped in its full glory.

What was the challenge? Was evidently a private one.
Nah he said if England make more than 200 in their 2nd innings he chooses my avatar, if they make 200 or less I choose.
