***Official*** India in England

Sidebottom looks like such a tramp, if I was the batsman I'd be cracking up when he pulled his little aggro face out.

This has a good chance of being a draw. Flat pitch, nothing for the bowlers. Batsmen have been crap in the first inning and will want to and will likely perform. Things can change very fast regarding help to bowlers, swing though because of possible showers and clouds tomorrow.

It wont be draw, unless it rains. I can see only one result in this game which is Enalgnd1, India 0.

There is rain predicted for tomorrow....

But yea, I still think England will pull it out. If all 90 overs are able to be bowled, England will likely win I think.

Showers predicted tomorrow. Hmm. I see this as batsmen scoring runs 200/2 or 3, some suicide wickets after that and playing for a draw with rain making it unreachable at some point too.

When was the last time India made 380 in the 4th innings of a match ?

Just checked it - Ironically Last time India made 380+(397) in the 4th innings was in 2002 against England at this ground itself against the likes of Jones, Hoggard, Flintoff etc. Agarkar scored his maiden test ton in tha inning.

So that gives me some hope.

Yea, I don't really see them chasing barring some miracle. If they start getting close, England will undoubtedly slow down their over rates and play out the time. I only see two outcomes - a draw or a win for England. Draw more likely due to the weather, but it depends what the scoreboard looks like at the end of today.

Just looked at the average balls faced...Dravid fourth all time! Amazingly, Bradman is second! I knew he scored fast but I thought that via the sheer weight of his runs he'd be first on that list. That's amazing.
