Hobart: where a selfish, full of himself captain cost Pak the test match, an oppertunity to stop AUS from making history
Given Waqar's figures in Australia, the home side would have won earlier.

Hobart for me. Both great matches though.

BTW, that is a great photo you've put with the Hobart test.

^^ something like that, but thats a whole different debate.
Waqar was injured in the 2nd in innings tbh, my blame would fall on that cheat-scum Darrel Hair who gave a crucial decision in Aus favour when the match was on knife edge.

Both matches had some brilliant cricket and also some poor cricket towards the end, Australia with all those runouts and India with their bowlers needing their bats shoved up the part of their anatomy where the sun don't shine..

Australia vs West Indies
, because it doesn't cause me as much heartburn as the other one.

I mentioned that my dislike for all batting came about after 136, so it has a special place in my heart :p. But gotta go with the Tied Test.

It's one of those classic "what-if" scenarios for me - the one thing many people (and I haven't been immune to this) mark Tendulkar down for slightly is that he hasn't played enough of those backs-to-the-wall, last-man-standing kind of epic matchwinning innings that often define a player. I'm not saying this is an accurate reflection of SRT, but it is a perception quite widely held, particularly compared to say, Dravid, who seems to have played a lot more of those kind of knocks.

Yet this Test could have changed all that - if only Sachin had seen this one through to the end, or even more accurately if only the Indian tail had been able to hold a bat in a manner that wouldn't have embarrassed a 94 year-old blind woman, then India would have won the match and the final small (probably unjustified) criticism of Sachin's career might be gone.

I'm getting p*ssed of just writing about it here, I can only imagine how you must feel SS!

Right, Ponting's epic 156 took on the significance party due to his tail doing something constructive. Now I think Pontings' was a better knock overall anyway, but if Ponting had been batting with that Indian tail.....

Not only did Tendulkar make that 136 in the game, he also took 2 crucial wickets in the second inning - of Inzamam and Yousuf (Youhana back then). He couldn't have done much more really.
