I'm no transfer market expert...but that seems pretty unlikely!

BTR 10,000 is roughly equivalent to Strong...so you're talking £1M+

The exception is (or at least, used to be) wicketkeepers, but that's probably changing as I write.

It wasn't the "Quality" bit I was disagreeing with -- I knew you meant it as a general description rather than a particular skill level. It was the fact that you wanted a player with BTR over 10,000.

At the moment, you don't get a lot for that sort of money. What you _do_ get, if you're careful, is trainable Competents and Respectables -- if you judge the wages correctly, you can find players out there who are only a week or two away from popping.

From what i'm hearing wicketkeeper are to have a bigger impact in the game next season so im guessing wicketkeepers will go up in price too.

Younger Than Bridges M, better consistency, and he'd have slotted in nicely at No.5 or 6 in my order. But hey-ho, I guess it would have been a bit of a vanity purchase, an all-rounder's not really what I need. I suppose I'd be better off going for a younger Qual bowler and forgetting the batting. Plus we had a Prof/Elite batsman in our league last season, and he wasn't *all* that great. I mean, he finished in the top ten of the batting averages, but quite a way off Greening and other Rem, Wond and Exc bats.

Oh well, back to the transfer market, Trev
